Dr Wil Chong is a fully accredited skin cancer doctor and a highly experienced dermoscopist with over 6 years of clinical experience. He is credentialed by Ramsay Health and has the admitting right to Shepparton Private Hospital. As a firm believer in placing service before self, Wil always has his patients’ best interests at heart.

Prior to co-founding GV Skin & Specialist Centre in Shepparton, Victoria, Wil was a GP serving the Goulburn Valley  Region for 12 years. Over the years, he saw the urgent need for skills and knowledge in the dermatology aspect of patient care. This prompted him to further his training in Dermatology, particularly Skin Cancer related conditions.

Through his years of training and working closely with plastic surgeons, Wil has gained valuable experiences in a myriad of procedures such as complex surgical excision, skin flaps and skin grafts.

His passion in dermatology and meticulous skills in surgery ensures a patient’s highest chance of cure from skin cancer with the best aesthetic outcome. To keep himself abreast of all the latest treatment options, Wil never fails to attend the pivotal conferences nationally and internationally.

Wil is married to a beautiful wife and they have an adorable daughter who is growing up way too quickly. He enjoys tennis and participates in local district competitions regularly.

Dr Wil’s mission is to provide patient-centred skin care and a professional integrated service to the region. He hopes to see his patients live healthily in their SKIN!
